Dessicator

Can somebody write me a catalogue number of Dessicator chamber ideal for 50ml falcon tubes fom a company provider (VWR or other provider), which works well with degassing of the hydrogel submerged tissue. I do have vaccum pump. Thank-you !

We use a dessicator from McMaster-Carr, part number 2204K5:

Inside we have a piece of styrofoam from the package that our Corning 50 ml tubes comes in. We can comfortably hold 3 to 4 tubes in the dessicator.

Any dessicator from Sigma can also be used. We use a mini vacuum dessicator to reduce the amount of N2 gas needed, but those do not fit 50 mL tubes, so we use the Nalgene chambers for that.

Hi @MRGneuro, in our lab we have standard vacuum pump attached to our labtables, so I have no idea what brand they are or where we got them from. Any vacuum will do I think..
