For the ones that tried CLARITY on rat brains: how much hydrogel solution did you use for perfusion? I was thinking to do 200ml since for the mouse brain they use 20ml. Also did you sliced the brain or left it longer in the hydrogel solution to allow complete diffusion?

We use 80-120mL of hydrogel solution for SD rats 200-350g. Same time for passive diffusion (48h), polymerisation works fine as far as we understand, so we haven't increased the diffusion time..
