Sample Staining
I'll do a pilot experiment with a sample of rat. Had thought to use Anti-GFAP, but I don't know the concentration to use it. Has anyone used this antibody?

1:100 is usually where I start with most antibodies, and this worked with GFAP for me (in mouse tissue).

1:100 is normally a good place to start - although this will depend on the purity of the antibody you are using?
This table provides a pretty good overview of the different starting dilutions based on antibody purity.

Do any of you still use anti-serum?!
