Make sample slice before passive clearing?

Hi all,
I'm trying liver sample with Clarity. Now I have come to the passive clearing step, am I supposed to make sample slice before passive clearing ? The sample will be swell and tender after cleared, and not easy to make slice.

And I remember someone post the link of the kit for making sample slice, can anyone help me to find it out?

normally I do the cutting after hydrogel polymerisation.
I work with brain so its the best moment to use a brain matrix.

If you don't need to be very specific about the region you will cut out, you can also do it after the clearing with a sharp razor blade, but remember if you cut before you will have to clear a smaller sample and thus the clearing time will be less.

Yeah, I would section before clearing, right after the hydrogel embedding step. After clearing the tissue gets quite squishy which, I'm assuming is going to make it hard to cut.
